Sigourney Weaver. Celebrity queen, generous humanitarian, and overall perfect human. Just shy of 6 ft tall, she towers over most of Hollywood, and has a resume equally as impressive. With her fingers in a little bit of everything – movies, tv shows, video games – she has been a fixture of the entertainment industry these last 40 years. She is well known for pretty much all of her film roles – possessed Dana Barrett in Ghostbusters, Na’vi loving Grace in Avatar, baby-making Chafee Bicknell from Baby Mama, and of course extraterrestrial ass-kicking Ripley from the Alien franchise, just to name a few. A presence and force in Hollywood today, she started out, more or less, a normal kid, but left to her own devices, she certainly wouldn’t stay that way! Check out this yearbook photo we have of Ms. Weaver:
“Please, God, don’t let me be normal.” Do you see that? Precious baby Sigourney Alexandra Weaver (who, ps by the way – changed her name from Susan when she was 13 because why wouldn’t she?) thought she would be left to a dull life of normalcy. I’d say “not on my watch,” but clearly she’s taken matters into her own hands. I don’t think Sigourney Weaver would’ve had a normal life is she tried – some people are just destined for something else.
